All of our dedicated servers are completely un-managed. We provide an unmanaged/self-managed service for those who are familiar and possess the ability to manage their own server/hosting environment. Our server solutions come at a fraction of the price as it would ultimately require a lot less work from us. This is how we're able to pass the savings on to you, our clients. For those, who require management service, we do provide it as an option at additional cost. Please note that this page is providing information for dedicated servers only, these management services are not for virtual private servers. Automatic Event Notification
Automatic Event Notifications (AEN) are conducted by our custom configuration of the industry standard Nagios monitoring system, which is an open-source critical system monitoring application used by some of the largest organizations in the world. This advanced dedicated hosting monitoring system is used in our network operations center, and will alert you when services for your dedicated hosting server you specify are unreachable.

Kernel & OS Updates (for Windows & Linux)
Whether you select a Linux dedicated server or a Windows dedicated server, our Kernel & OS Updates managed service will constantly keep your server up-to-date to keep it secure and current. It's important to both the integrity of the network, and particularly the reliability of your managed web hosting server to always have the latest updates and patches applied to the software that you're using.
This service insures that your software is always up-to-date and secure. While we cannot protect against weak passwords or insecure scripts running on the server, it will insure that the operating system is patched to the latest released version of the Kernel which we consider stable.
By being open source community sponsor of Kernel.org, the CentOS Foundation and a mirror sponsor for cPanel, we are able to have access to the latest versions of the Linux Kernel, Cpanel and other products quickly -- and we are able to update your dedicated servers software via our internal network saving time and bandwidth.
Kernel & OS Updates now includes Ksplice Uptrack for Linux servers. The technology offers Linux customers Reboot-less Kernel Updates means your servers core operating system is automatically updated without the need to restart your server. Private Bandwidth Poolâ„¢
Combine your servers bandwidth into one large pool and share your bandwidth allocation between your servers. Private Bandwidth Pooling enables you to combine your bandwidth limitations from all your servers into one large limit. This can be useful if you have back-end servers that have bandwidth allocations but do not generate traffic. When combined with our Private Network offering, this can be an extremely cost effective service.

If you need an always-on firewall, then consider purchasing your own dedicated hardware firewall, as it may be a better long-term option. However, for most dedicated server users a software-based firewall (such as Windows firewall or APF on Linux) is more than sufficient most-of-the-time.
